The Old Manor House

A long-forgotten Winchester property gets a new lease on life after being renovated. Creating a light, contemporary setting, this derelict building uses minimal glazing inside and out.

A large part of the original character is still visible on the north west side of the building. Against the old structure of this property, an extension of a large, one-story glass kitchen transforms it into a modern home.

Description

An energy-efficient double-glazed frameless roof with clear structural glass beams creates a kitchen that is both cool in summer and warm in winter.

GlassSpace Infiniti Fineline hinged doors allow full use of the outdoor space while blurring the line between the inside and the outside.

Old and new blend seamlessly in this former manor house with floating staircases and glass balustrades.
